Jacob Trombley graduated from West Virginia University College of Law in 2023 earning his Juris Doctor. He worked with our firm as a clerk beginning in Spring 2021 before passing the bar exam and being sworn in as an Attorney. Jake was awarded the CALI Award in Conflict of Laws while at the College of Law.
Before law school, Jake served as Branch Chief, Outreach Pacific with the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and for his service in that role was award the Coast Guard Auxiliary Achievement Medal.
Upon graduating from law school, Jake moved to Kingwood where he is an active member of the community. He currently serves as the District 15 Representative (Barbour, Preston, Taylor & Tucker Counties) on the Young Lawyers Board of the West Virginia State Bar and as a Member of the American Bar Association.
Jake’s practice includes criminal and civil litigation, family law matters, and estate planning. He is admitted to practice law in the State of West Virginia, and both the Northern and Southern Districts of the United States District Courts.
Prior to earning his Juris Doctor, Jake attended Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations. In his time outside the Office, Jake enjoys golf, fishing, and is an avid fan of baseball and ice hockey.
